Baby 6-9 months
Makes 3-4 portions
Suitable for freezing
1 apple, peeled cored and cut into wedges
1/2 cup of broccoli florets
1/3 cup fresh blueberries
Place the broccoli florets in a steaming basket and steam until the broccoli are tender but still bright green. Discard the water at the bottom of the steamer.
Steam the apple wedges until soft and reserve the water at the bottom of the steamer.
Place all the ingredients in a blender of your choice and puree until your baby’s preferred consistency adding some of the reserved water if needed.
Tip: You can stir in some cottage cheese before serving. If you want to spice it up, add a pinch of cinnamon.
